Christian Bale Is The New Batman

Christian Bale - who played the lead in the American Psycho movie - has been selected to play Batman in Christoper Nolan's (Memento) adaptation.
Said Nolan, "What I see in Christian is the ultimate embodiment of Bruce Wayne. He has exactly the balance of darkness and light that we were looking for."
I realize this is only tangentially related to Bret Easton Ellis, but there has been such a complete void of news over the past month that this is the best I can do right now.

Personally, I cant imagine ANYONE else in the role of Patrick Bateman. Bale was genious in the original-a perfect embodyment of the book's character-and the book was brilliant, my personal Ellis favorite!!

I agree with you 100% on that ,Jenna. It's my favorite too. It's extremely entertaining and despite the very graphic torture and death scenes- it's explosively funny at times!! I love Ellis' wit. Amazing!!
