    ALA's Banned Books Week

    Yesterday kicked off the American Library Association's annual Banned Books Week. Ellis' American Psycho ranks as the 60th most challeneged book.

    I am fascinated by the fact that American Psycho was out-challenged by Road Dahl's James and the Giant Peach [#56], not to mention countless other seemingly innocuous titles. At least with AP, you can pretty much understand why people might have a problem with it, but Of Mice and Men at number six? Incredible.
