Lunar Park Title Hits Mainstream Press

The title of Ellis' new novel - Lunar Park - which is all but confirmed (Bookthread told us a while back, and its on the manuscript) has now hit the big media.
Picador are excited with Bret Easton Ellis’s first book for six years, Lunar Park, due out next October, “in which Ellis confronts his own legend, and the legacy of his work, with electrifying intensity”. We are promised “humour, terror and pathos” in this tale of “one man’s journey towards a kind of redemption”. Yikes. What for? American Psycho? That tame old thing?
I sure hope we don't have to wait till October for publication. From what I've seen, it certainly isn't going to take a whole year to get it finalized and printed. Thanks to Christopher W for tipping me off about this story.

still nothing on the US copyright site. I don't know much about book publishing, just WGA shit, but shouldn't they get that locked down soon?

Perhaps they have a pending application, or already approved and just not reflected on the website. Just guessing.

Don't you think ellis is writing a "What is life?" book, personally I hate books about life and learning from life, and realizing what is all means and making life some type of 'beautiful journey', is ellis not getting too academic? Has his characters now started to care about themselves?
