    Glamorama Ramping Up?

Pure speculation on my part here since I can't reliably decipher Avary's journal entries, but if he's having dinner with Bret (is he even referring to Ellis?), it could be an indication.

I wouldn't read too much into it. Roger has mentioned having dinner with Bret Easton Ellis and "Victor Ward" on his blog in the past, and as we know, nothing has happened with the film yet. But we can all keep hoping.

What is up with that film, is it being made or is it looking for a distributor?

I guess we'll see what happens, I have a horrible feeling we're going to see another direct-to-video American Psycho sequel before Glamorama though...

last official statement, they're looking for backers. It appears that he's still doing revisions too

Yeah, I don't know why everyone started assuming Mena Suvari was going to be in the film just because she was shown reading that script. I took that as something to help her pass the time while her husband and Avary worked with that camera.

I just saw Ben Stiller's ZOOLANDER on cable. Is it only me, or is this a direct comedic version of GLAMORAMA? If you are not familiar with the story, it goes like this...New York, VH-1 Fashion Awards...a simple-minded male model is brainwashed into becoming an assasin, sent to kill a Malaysian Prime Minister. The movie is peppered with celebrity cameos, irony and satire.

    I dunno...maybe I watch too much TV.
