    Glamorama Film Tie-In Novel

A sliver of confirmation of the Glamorama movie? After first mentioning the possible 'film tie-in' version of the novel back in early March, Gavin emails me with this little gem from the Amazon UK site:

Glamorama Film Tie-In with a release date of Jan 5, 2007.

So, perhaps we can infer that although no announcement has been made, Avary's film adaptation of the novel will also be released during 2007. Does he finally have funding?

By searching with the ISBN from the UK site on Google, a number of sites come up that confirm the rumour and the 2007 date. Nevertheless, some suggest an even earlier date. Consider this site:

(Use the search for Glamorama Film tie-in if it leads to a blank page.)

This suggests that the release date will be 6th January 2006.

I'm not sure about this, but a Film-tie in release seems to be confirmed, and we will have to see in January whether this comes to fruition so early. I doubt it, though.

Has anyone seen this link http://www.iespana.es/glamorama/crew.html. What do you think?

Yeah, that's been talked about in some older posts. I think the conclusion was it was set up by a fan with a lot of time on their hands.

Hey Bret, do you have any connections with anyone close to BEE that can just confirm or deny this rumor?

Could the Glamorama film tie in be Glitterati, the bridge between The Rules of Attraction and Glamorama?

That is exactly what Glitterati is.
