    Vernon Downs

Gawker has the details behind 'Vernon Downs', a new book about a writer obsessed with Bret Easton Ellis. It was authored by Jaime Clark, and is available for download (is this authorized?) at the Ellis Yahoo! Fan Site as a PDF. (You have to join the group, and then look in 'Files' to get it.

The PDF is 133 pages, I'll see if I can get thru it tonight. And thanks to the handful of people who emailed this to me today.

UPDATE: The PDF version of 'Vernon Downs' has now been removed from the Ellis Yahoo! Fan Site per the request of the author. Hope you got it while it was up.

    That's nice !
I downloaded the stuff but haven't started on it yet.

    Another interesting link :

Or "Why the Teletubbies are Evil", supposedly written by BEE himself(?).Anyway, the piece is quite funny and clever.

The French text comes first, but the original is under it.

from the pages i've read, the book is pretty mediocre, but the interview the writer did with Ellis, that is the catalyst for this book, is a good read

Is the Ellis interview part of that book/PDF, or is that available somewhere else? I'm really only interested in that part for the time being.

Here is the Jaime Clarke interview. Thats a Geocities site, so it may go down from time to time during the day if it gets much traffic. I'll get a version of the interview posted here soon.
