    American Psycho: Killer Collector's Edition

I mentioned it when it was announced, but failed to note that the special edition DVD for American Psycho, the Killer Collector's Edition was finally released on June 21st. The details from Amazon still show this with an R rating, rather than the NC-17 that I would have expected from an uncut version of the film, but perhaps the R is just incorret - or the additional footage is simply not rated at all.

I figured that the Amazon details were just wrong. Thanks for the confirmation.

I bought it but haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet. Is the cut of the film different from the previous unrated version that was on DVD?

Bret: perhaps this will make the board once again possible?

Ha! I actually saw that new release today and thought the same thing. At this point, I'm comitted to getting the board back up next month, but I'm also thinking about vBulletin (though its not free) since the Chuck Palahniuk site runs it seemingly problem free.

the cut of the film is the same as the unrated version. the extras have some of the cut scenes that appear in the book but not in the original film or unrated dvd versions.

my copy of this is on its way from Amazon. I'm mainly purchasing it for the missing scenes, but I'm a bit confused about the version of the film. I have the unrated edition from however many years ago and althought it has the missing sex scenes, it's still edited (the missing "hole" when the hooker is told to eat the other's ass). Is this new disc the exact same version of the film or is it further unedited? I guess I'll find out in a couple days
