European Tour Dates
I don't know all of the European tour dates, but when I do, they'll be put here - and there will be a link to them in box on the top right hand corner of the site.
According to the official Netherlands BEE site, Bret is going to make an appearance in Koningsplein on October 15th at 3PM. [thanks Servaas]
I also notice that the Netherlands has a different book cover for Lunar Park than I've seen anywhere else - the moon is brown instead of grey, more of a harvest moon I guess. They also spell Bret's name wrong in the title and in alot of the head tags.
Here are the remaining foreign book covers from the site. Suprisingly nothing there for The Informers.

I will go to Milano. am I the alone one? wake up Italian readers! Turin is very far ... and I am now too drunk to find the strengths to go... and I mortally feel in fault. but how I do? "being Bret Easton Ellis fan is not easy". I have seen Bret In London, to the Queen Elizabeth hall. so cool. I do not know, Milano anchors. and then? do not know ... I feel in fault if I do not go to Turin tomorrow. we let lose. bye... maybe do I have any problem not?

Bret in Milano has been totally cool. was he really to the search of a true chance sexual patner? he was searching the audience carefully! he has been Great.

Just one word: OUTSTANDING. Bret in Milan was so amazing. His meeting with the fans has been priceless, but at the same time I must be honest: he truly put me in self doubt. He looked and sounded so fa removed from what he writes in his books. It was like as he did not want to show his inner feelings. I need Bret Easton Ellis to belong to his writing, but he willingly put himself apart from the world he penned. He's a genius, no question. But where does the real Bret begin and where does he end? He didn't want to tell what really lies beneath him. Who's the writer and who's the man? But, hey, who am I to ask then? I just love him way too much...

yes, I understand well, I have asked myself the same thing, I have had the same sensation..who is Bret? we will not never know it. now.. maybe.. I understand why it is not easy to be Bret Easton Ellis's fan.. reading of Victor, Pat..I expected that look, proud, snob, amused did not deign the public of one from our adoring faces.. if he had been therefore I would have understood it more.. or not.. perhaps.. I have followed he until London and in UK he has been more soft, perhaps because the atmosphere was much formal.. but he was sarcastic, ironic, wry however.. I don't know!
for me it is absolutely frustrating not to know nearly nothing about him.. but the ambiguity is all not?

Alice, in case you still wonder. Are you fun to be with ? Mr. Ellis told in an interview for Dutch television(www.vpro.nl click on R.A.M. laatste uitzending ) that he is single and that fallling in love would make him happy. Who knows ? the two of you might have enough in common for having a Big Mac together.
Francesco, actually, that is exactly how I expected Mr. Ellis to be. Indeed, am I impressed by his gentility. Though, I only saw him on tv. Of course in order to write your surroundings so accurately, you must have a superb eye for details and be ultimately sensitive to atmosphere. After reading American Psycho I wasn't too much disgusted at the metaphorical atrocities in it but simply touched by the way Patrick Bateman crashed.
I was quite surprised by the fact Mr. Ellis didn't bring his own pen to the Amsterdam bookshop Scheltema where he was going to sign his novels. That's strange, it's like going to have your shoes fixed at Mister Minute without taking them.
