Review: You Will Behave

I got the chance to read a new novella called You Will Behave by Matt Getty over the past week or so while traveling. It was very different style of book than what I usually read, in that it was very short and quite funny. I'm not sure why, but I can't remember the last time I read a book that was actually funny.

You Will Behave is also different in that its written in the 2nd person future tense. The story revolves around a mother chastising her young son after he sodomized his sister's Sparkle Beach Barbie with Darth Vader's light-saber.

If that sounds odd, well it is. And it gets even more weird as the mother continues laying into her son and in effect, predicting his entire life based on this episode.

Overall, a good book, and a great change of pace from what I'm used to reading.
