That list is a pretty good one. I seldom agree with the entries on such lists, but there are lots of films on there I agree are some of the best book-to-film adaptations. It's criminal, though, that "The Shining" was omitted. It's a decent book; it's a masterpiece of a film.

Ok, some people probably find it boring, but I think it's very well-adapted. Both the book and the movie are good, with the book slightly superior.
