    This looks very much on the line with Ellis's work. Much more so than the previous films based on his novels. The androgynous youth, the symbol of greed (greed is good is a famous 80's quote from a Wall Street Tycoon, very appropriate for the satire of wealth) the vain idea of perpetual youth is very analogous to the vain, evil characters in the Informers. The image is very powerful and almost austere, I think this is very tasteful and the aethestic of it of course mirrors that of the novels beautiful yet dismal qualities.
