Billy Bob and Kim Basinger Joining The Informers

The casting for The Informers seems to be going well, with Billy Bob Thornton and Kim Basinger currently in negotiations to join the cast. Already on board are Brandon Routh, Ashley Olsen, Austin Nichols, Lou Pucci and Jon Foster.

Thornton will play a movie exec, and Basinger will portray his wife, Routh has been cast as the vampire, and Olsen plays a sexually promiscuous girl.

Shooting will begin in October in Los Angeles, Uruguay and Brazil.

The Frog King Begins This Fall

According to The Hollywood Reporter, production on 'The Frog King' will begin this fall using the screenplay penned by Bret Easton Ellis based on the Adam Davies novel.

The lead role is set to be played by Joseph Gordon Levitt with Darren Star directing.
