    Nick McDonell Interview

    Marty Beckerman interviews Nick McDonell about his new novel An Expensive Education.

    Both of these guys have been given the tag of 'BEE style writers of their generation' when their first novels were released - Generation SLUT for Beckerman and Twelve for McDonell.

    That's not the real Bret Easton Ellis we see, instead just a made up persona with the same name as him. I actually believe that when it comes to B.E.E.'s Twitter comments, he is writing about his life as much "in character" as he did in Lunar Park.

    Maybe he's still trying to uphold some sort of an image of himself through Twitter. This image is in my opinion a completely made up thing that he just puts on for the act.
